SUBMERGED ARC WELDING IS KEEPING THINGS STUCK TOGETHER
With the addition of a Miller Sub Arc welder nearly 6 years ago, our confidence in welding larger and more critical items has increased. Samples of welds have been tested via x-ray and stress testing, proving that this unit is capable of holding a weldment together under the most grueling applications.
LONG WALL UPGRADES ARE REALLY HOLDING UP!
In 2008, the repair process of a complete long wall leg system began. Major damage to the cylinder stages, pistons, glands, main tubes, and fluid transfer/control systems were determined to be a compilation of problems needed to be resolved. The complete leg cylinder was then redesigned, researched, and necessary hard-parts manufactured at our facility. To date over 200 cylinders have been assembled, tested, and delivered to our customer, with a 0% major failure rate and a total of 7 cylinder reseals due to rod damage from debris in 6 years of near continuous operation!
